Today we are going to talk about an interesting topic and that is google Adsense in WordPress. After creating a website, it is now time to monetize your website to start to earn money.
Create Pages and Contents
Before applying for Adsense, there should be enough content that must be free of Plagiarism. Create at least 15-20 contents, and create posts that contain at least 500 words or more than that to applying for Google Adsense. Also, Make sure you are adding free photos for your posts.
You also will have to create different important pages such as Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, about us, terms, and conditions.
Add Site Map to Your WordPress
Add a plugin called Yoast Seo and activate it. Go on Seo showing on a dashboard. Click on general and go to feature and see whether the XML sitemap is on or not.
If you have Yoast Seo in your WordPress then you don’t have to add any sitemap.
Verify your site ownership.
There are seven ways to verify your site ownership which you can verify by Google Search Console.
The most easier way is by google analytics if you have google analytics in your WordPress then you can verify it by typing Url of your site to the Url prefix section. To add google analytics to your site, go to the plugin section and add a plugin called Google site kit and activate it.
After, activating it you will see a setup wizard, click on that and sign in with your Google account the same google account that you used in a Website. After that, you can connect google search console analytics from this plugin.
After following the above guidelines, now, you can apply for Google Adsence.
- First, type Google AdSense to your browser. It will appear on the top of the google browser.
- Click on that and click on the sign-up button.
- After that, you will have to provide the details of your website along with your email address. (Simply copy and paste your website.)
- If you want to get any updates from Adsense then you can click on the yes button that appears on the page.
- Click on the save and continue button
- Afterward, there will appear one more form that will ask you about your address (you should fill the perfect address there.
- On that form, you will have to select a country or territory
- After that, terms and conditions will be shown, and you will have to agree on those terms and conditions to monetize your website. Click on the yes button to agree with the terms and conditions.
- And then click on the create account button
- Again another form will appear, click on get started.
- On that page, you will be asked for some information such as your address details, state postal code, phone number.
- After filling all the information you will have to click on the submit button
- Afterward, Adsense will provide you with the code. Adsense will provide all the processes to use that code on your website. (leave that page as it is because you will have to come to that page after inserting the code in your WordPress, After inserting code you will have to click on the done button and AdSense will search for the code that you have inserted in the right place or not.)
- You will have to copy the code provided by AdSense,
- To add the code to your website you can use the plugin. Click on the add new plugin and search for the insert header and footer on the search bar, install that plugin.
- Go to the setting of your WordPress and click on the insert header and footer, you will see the code on, simply paste the code provided by AdSense above the code of insert header and footer plugin.
- And then go to Adsense and click on, yes I have placed the code and show ads as soon as the AdSense account is active then click done.
- Once you click the done button AdSense will look for the code whether you have added it to the right place or not. After finding the code on your WordPress, now your AdSense account is in the process of activation. Once it gets activated, you will get notified through your email address.
- If your Google Adsense does not approve your application then they will send the reasons why it is not approved. You can fix all those problems and apply it again. It may take 1 day or more than that in some cases to get approval.
After approval, when $10 reaches to your absence, you can provide your bank account details.
You will be able to issue your earning after it reaches 100 dollars.
